Raising the profile of the South East among government decision-makers and influencers.

South East Councils is a cross-party membership association that works to ensure the South East England region is a great place to live, work and do business. With most local authorities as members, it seeks to provide a unified democratic voice on South East interests.

We provide public affairs, campaign and communications support to the association, helping to raise its profile among decision makers and influencers. Since our appointment in September 2021, we’ve helped to grow its digital presence on the website and across social media. 

Timely, informative emails are produced by our team as exclusive updates for members on a range of matters including levelling up, local government finance, transport, climate change and employment and skills. 

We regularly support with hosting digital and in-person events including helping to facilitate the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the South East.

Raising the profile of the South East is critical as the Government continues to drive its levelling up ambitions. We’ve helped place op-ed and opinion pieces for the association’s chair and executive members in key trade and regional media as well securing broadcast opportunities on research findings and polling data to highlight the potential of the region to contribute to the UK’s economic recovery.
