We're now a B Corp and we're pretty proud of it
After a long and rigorous assessment process, Filigree is officially B Corp Certified. We scored 92 points in B Lab’s review – well above the median of 50.9 for most businesses that go through the same process.
It’s a big milestone for us and reflects how far we’ve come on our journey from consultancy into a purpose-driven organisation.

so, what does being a b corp actually mean?
Put simply, it shows that we’re serious about doing business differently, with a clear commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
It doesn’t mean that we’re the best we could be, but it does mean we’re now part of a global movement of companies pushing for change. We’re now formally accountable to high (and rising) standards of impact, ethics and transparency.
why did we go for it?
We did it because we believe business should be a force for good and we wanted to prove that we’re living our values.
Ten years ago, we started out with a simple aim – to work with organisations who care deeply about involving their communities and are willing to take the time to make sure everyone has a voice, regardless of background or circumstances.
This focus hasn’t changed. Our clients are purpose-led, driven to create change and make a difference – from local government and charities to public sector organisations. Based in Norwich, our team delivers innovative community consultation, inclusive stakeholder engagement, creative placemaking, and strategic communications. We always place communities at the heart of every project, ensuring as many local voices as possible are heard, respected and empowered to take part.
Since 2015, we've worked on town centre transformations, youth skills campaigns, inclusive placemaking, mental health awareness – always putting collaboration and impact first.
What’s next?
Being part of the UK B Corp community means both opportunity and responsibility.
We want to help grow awareness of what B Corp stands for, especially here in the East of England, where public recognition is still relatively low. Of the 619 B Corps in our industry category (Advertising and Market Research), just 173 are micro businesses like ours. And in Norfolk? We’re not sure of the exact number – but we hope to be one of many more.
We’re excited to continue to learn, share and help raise the bar alongside others who care about driving business with purpose.
